I got back on my mat tonight, thanks to Lauren’s gentle persistence that class of ‘89 come to yoga. And, it was lovely. Mindful, thoughtful, no complicated poses.

I like the way my body feels after I’ve completed a flow. The last few years have been so stressful and between weight gain and old injury, I didn’t think I could do this anymore. But I did. And I’ll do it again next week, too. Because there is something so centering for me, so confirming of my inner strength, about yoga, in a room, with likeminded people who know it’s a practice, not a perfect.
